Yes, at et al. we use the latest science in skin health to develop every product. We always use skincare actives at functional levels so that they actually deliver results.

We do additional testing on all products including phototoxicity, comedogenicity, dermatologist testing and testing of heavy metal level. Depending on the product, we might include water resistance, long wear, antioxidant levels, blue light protection and UVA/UVB protection, as well as clinical trials looking at the impact on hydration, sebum and other skin parameters.

Yes, each and every one of our formulations has been independently evaluated to ensure they meet the highest standards for safety and efficacy.

Yes, we feel confident that our makeup will not make problem skin worse and can even help it. Our makeup is completely non-comedogenic and allows the skin to breathe and function normally. It also easily covers redness and helps to reduce inflammation. In addition to routine testing on skin sensitivity and allergy, we’ve gone the additional mile and tested for comedogenicity as well as dermatologist testing to ensure that our products are completely safe.

Yes, et al. has been formulated so that it doesn’t look cakey, or feel heavy on skin, instead enhancing it while hydrating and shielding from environmental stressors. The range is for all ages and all skin types.

Absolutely, one feature that we have been vigilant about is longevity, and usability for a variety of skin types.

That’s not the plan, we want to create versatile products for everyone. That’s not to say that our foundation range will not expand, because it most certainly will. It’s more that we wouldn’t want to restrict the use of any of our products by anyone.

When creating et al. we have tried our very best to be as responsible to the planet as possible, all the way from choosing our ingredients, to our primary packaging, to the way we receive goods into our warehouse. Responsibility to the planet is one of our key brand pillars.

The packaging supply chain is a complicated one, and when this is teamed with producing products with high levels of active ingredients it becomes even more complicated. There is a fine balancing act that must take place to ensure formulas are compatible with the packaging, whilst trying to maintain our responsibility to the planet. There are elements of plastic within packaging portfolios, pumps, caps, and mixed materials. However, we have consciously tried to use as little single use plastic as possible. We will always strive to keep our responsibility to the planet at the forefront of our intentions when creating for this brand.

We offer free 1-2 day delivery to anywhere in the UK on orders over £50 and when placed before 2pm Monday to Friday.

To make sure your products get to you in time, we send them recorded delivery via DPD for UK and DHL for Europe and Rest of World, so someone will need to sign for them.

Once your parcel has been dispatched, we will email you with a tracking number so that you can check its status. We aim to deliver your products within 48 hours of placing an order if you’re in the UK. Please note, our warehouse is not open at the weekend, so orders placed after 2pm on Friday or later will not be processed until the next working day.

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes in the UK. A full street address is required.

Shipping in UK is free on orders over £50. For orders under £50, shipping costs: UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man) - £3.95. Channel Islands and Isle of Man - £9.95. Republic of Ireland - £9.95. Europe - £14.95. Rest of World - £29.95.

We want you to love using et al., but in the unlikely event that you’d like to send something back – let us know within 28 working days of the date you received your goods and ensure that they have not been opened or used. Simply call us on +44 (0) 20 8438 3270 or email hi@etalbeautycollective.co.uk and we’ll arrange this for you. We can't be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods. We will replace any item like-for-like or if the item is no longer available we will refund you via the original payment method. Please allow 30 days from the date you contacted us.
